There is a USAWE Members Meeting on 3 February at 12 EST. Make sure you RSVP if you plan to attend and get the latest news from the National Leadership.

Our April Show is getting ready to open up on 1 Feb for registration. You can find more information on our Website and our Facebook page. Member Highlight:

Landyn Riddle

"My name is Landyn Riddle and I am 10 years old. I have a pony named Rusty. He is 12 hands and is 13 years old. I have had him for 6 years. My pony loves Working Equitation because it keeps his mind busy. My favorite obstacle is the gate because it gives us a challenge. Sometimes he is hard to catch. I also liked going to the beach with him. I did the 20 mile beach ride on him last year. I like trail rides too. I am teaching Rusty to jump. The highest I have jumped is 2ft 3. I love my pony Rusty. He is my best friend. My hobbies that I like besides horses is hunting and fishing."

A new Competition Manual has been released. The link can be found here. Changes include requirements on how to qualify for championships and recommendations for housing officials.
