Hello WEE Members! 

Welcome to the first of many newsletters! We want to start by saying thank you for your participation and support in Working Equitation East. We cannot make all that we do happen without you. These newsletters are available and will be kept on the website. If you have not explored our page, you can learn more about WEE and our board, read our newsletters, and join as a member if you are not yet one (we encourage the sharing of this newsletter!) at https://www.workingequitationeast.org/. 

We are coming out of an amazing Eastern Zone Championship! Congratulations and thank you to all of our members who rode, volunteered, supported, donated, and generally overall made the event incredible. It was 4 days of some wonderfully turned-out competitors, fantastic rides, dancing (on and off horseback!), great food, and continual learning, growing, and building of this community that we all love. If you were unable to be there, I would direct you to the Eastern Zone Championships Facebook page; there have been numerous posts. Karen Miller, our Region 6 director, has posted her photos collections from each day. Thank you for capturing all the rides, antics, and outfits from the weekend!

As we continue to build Working Equitation East to best support our members, we are constantly looking for your feedback. We will send out surveys following our events, but in between, if there is anything you want us to know, anything you would like to request, or questions that we can answer for you, please email us at WEEmemberoutreach@gmail.com. That gets sent to our Member Outreach team and we will respond promptly to best address your questions and concerns. We love the feedback and are always looking for recommendations on events or educational opportunities that you think would be beneficial. 

On the note of Member Outreach, be on the lookout for a Virtual Member Meeting! We want to begin with an annual meeting where we can discuss rule changes, member concerns and requests, upcoming events, and new members. This effort is to talk with our members and ensure that WEE is meeting your needs. We will be shooting for early December, but watch the Facebook page for more details!

• June 28-30 Gloucester County DREAM Park, Logan Township, NJ with judge, Rebecca L Algar.

* This will be two shows, a one day show and a two day show.

• August 17-18 Gloucester County DREAM Park, Logan Township, NJ with judge, Polly Limond.

• October 3-6 USAWE Region 6 and Region 7 Championship Three Bulls Farm, Bulls Gap, TN with judges Polly Limond and Nicole Chastain Price.
