Specialty Awards

Jeanne Bond Horsemanship Award

This award will be a perpetual award decided on by the combined expertise of the gate steward, judges, and technical delegate.

The award will be given to the competitor who demonstrates truly putting their horse first during the heat of competition.

This award is lovingly sponsored by Jeanne Bond, who is a former technical delegate and seasoned gate steward of Working Equitation. She has always advocated for putting the welfare of our equine partners first and formost, and we are honored to join her in celebrating those who do. The winner will be announced during the Awards Ceremon

Working Equitation East Sportsmanship Award

This award is a competitor driven award. Each competitor will have the opportunity to vote for their fellow competitor that they feel exhibits the kindness and comraderie we have come to expect from the Working Equitation community.

A box will be available in the Show Office for the selections to be dropped off.

The winner will be announced during the Awards Ceremony.

Team Awards

Team medals will be given to the top three teams competing throughout the weekend. Riders may be a combination from any of the three shows running concurrently and can be a combination of any levels. Teams should consist of 3 or 4 riders, with teams of 4 dropping the lowest rider score in Dressage and Ease of Handling. Speed will not be factored into scoring to allow for L1 rider participation. Team awards will be given after the conclusion of Ease of Handling on Saturday during the L1 Awards Ceremony.

Elegant ribbons will be awarded for each phase of competition for riders finishing 1st-6th place.

Champion and Reserve Champions of the Championship and International shows will receive neck ribbons.

Riders 3rd-6th place will receive special Championship or International show ribbons.

For the recognized Working Equitation at Grange Park show, Champion and Reserve Champion riders, and those placing 3rd-6th place, will receive Working Equitation East ribbons.
